Fort Smith Public Schools is proud to announce that Dyslexia/Intervention Paraprofessional, Mrs. Barbie Hafner has been named the Spradling Elementary Classified Employee of the Year. Mrs. Hafner’s dedication and passion for teaching have made a lasting impact on her students and the Spradling community. Known for her positivity, approachable demeanor, and commitment to fostering a welcoming environment, she has become a beloved figure at Spradling Elementary.

Mrs. Hafner's exceptional performance is evident in her proactive approach to student success. She goes above and beyond to meet the individual needs of her students, helping them build strong literacy foundations. Her ability to collaborate with teachers, maintain detailed progress data, and refer students for additional support has been crucial in ensuring that every student has the tools they need to succeed. Her teamwork, willingness to assist others, and constant pursuit of professional development make her an invaluable resource to her school.
